The system is designed to operate in the following way:

A password protected virtual drive on the server which then complies with the document control requirements, as approvals for changes need to go through a specific documented process described in the system.

Your daily business functions are operated from this platform. This will ensure that the system will stay current as all use the system for their daily tasks.

It is not normal to have a quality manager when using this system. A quality team leader is appointed to “champion” the system and chair the quality meetings, ensuring the system has management commitment. All other tasks are distributed across the workforce ensuring “commitment” from the whole organisation. Quality is everyone’s business.
