The IQMS system is designed to operate in the following way:

• A password protected drive or virtual drive on the server which then complies with the document control requirements as approvals for changes need to go through a specific documented process described in the system.  

• The system is then available to all staff on the intrenet.  

• Your daily business functions are operated from this platform. This will ensure that the system will stay current.

• It is not normal to have a quality manager when using this system. A quality team leader is appointed to "champion" the system and chair the quality meetings, ensuring the system has management commitment. All other tasks are distributed across the workforce ensuring "commitment" from the whole .

• Regular tasks and verifications are automatically emailed to the responsible person as is calibrations sent to the calibrating authority without any staff having to take action until the call to arrange the visit.
